My new room is currently bare. I need to build it from the ground up, as I am in a new position at this school. I need a table to sit at least six students so they can work cooperatively in small groups. I provide intensive reading and math interventions for 3rd and 4th graders so they can close their reading math gap. While I'm at my kidney table providing guided reading to a small group, the other students will be at the new rectangle table doing independent work and practice. This way, they can continue practicing what they just learned with me.
