My students are amazing three, four, and five year old students from a low- income community. My classroom is a blended model with 9 at-risk students and 6 special education students. They are all extremely energetic, creative, and happy children whom love to learn, explore, and conquer each day with happiness. My assistant and I try to create a safe, happy environment for them to build a love of learning and a strong foundation to exceed their optimal potential. Many of our children have never been exposed to materials that enrich their learning while building strong language and hands-on experiences. I am a strong advocate for early intervention so that children have a solid foundation to continue to grow as life-long learners.
