As the Elementary STEM teacher, I was always excited to get my students coding! Nothing makes a person look more tech savvy than knowing how to computer program. We use an online program that allows students to practice their coding talents, but how much more exciting would it be to actually see your programs come to life? This is where Botley the Coding Robot will come in. Students will use their imagination to create their own programs to control a real life robot! You can't ask for any more student engagement than that! As a STEM teacher, my goal is to strive for real life connections to careers. I want my students to know that STEM is not just about having fun together but we are exploring future career paths that can one day be a reality for them.
