Artists Need Markers
Funded Dec 24, 2024Thank you so much for your support of our classroom! We have been over the moon with the new items we have received. When we first got the markers students spent days just swatch-ing the colors on paper to see what the colors looked like.
They were so happy we finally had markers that worked how they were supposed to work! Students have been using them recently to create posters that detail ceramic processes of pinch pots and slab building construction. They have turned out so well! The colors are so vibrant! We thank you so much! You rock!”

Artists Need Watercolor
Funded Dec 24, 2024Thank you for your donation and support to our classroom. The watercolors we received have impacted the way students are able to work and create. None of this would be possible without you! Students are capable of creating things that are far more detailed and complex than what we were capable of doing before. Having more color options allows student to mix colors to have more accurate color representation based on reference images. We have enjoyed the liquid watercolor, watercolor pans, and paper.
Having these supplies has been a blessing. Students are overjoyed with he options they have to work with. Providing choice and experimentation in art is something I am so happy and honored to provide for them.
Thank you for supporting public education! You rock!”

Artists Need Sketchbooks
Funded Jan 9, 2025Sketchbooks are one of the few items in the art room that students have to call their own. It is an item they don't have to share like markers or rulers. Students use them to take notes, collect ideas, create ideas, make plans, express their emotions, and to explore different materials. They are very functional, but often it is hard for our students to get one on their own.
When the sketchbooks came in, students were very happy. We passed the sketchbooks out and each student got to design their own cover on a separate piece of paper. We used the markers and watercolor we received from another project to create the designs. We then glued the designs to the cover. Each student had a different design with different colors and they were able to put their name on it. We loved looking at how unique and different each student's sketchbook turned out. Each student was then able to glue their vocabulary work into the sketchbook for easy reference and safe keeping!
None of this would be possible without your generous donations and support. We are truly grateful and blessed! Thank you from all of us! You rock!”

Artists Need Health and Wellness
Funded Dec 15, 2024I cannot even begin to say how much these items have impacted and helped our classroom. We are in the season of coughs and sniffles galore... the flu, common cold, and endless other viruses are getting passed around. Students now have the supplies and items necessary to help fight against the germs in our classroom.
The disinfecting wipes help with wiping down and sanitizing any supplies that are commonly used and shared, such as rulers, scissors, and markers. As well as the desks students work at. The hand sanitizer helps students keep germs off their hands after handling the various supplies we use on a daily basis. Students were overjoyed to hear we have tissues they can use to blow their nose with instead of scratchy paper towels... because we all know how miserable that is.
These items have seriously helped students take responsibly with preventing germs and creating a clean working environment for students that come in and out of our classroom every day. Thank you for helping us promote health and wellness in the art room! You rock!”

Artists Need Glue
Funded Dec 15, 2024Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity towards our classroom of artists. The various types of glue is a true blessing for us. Having a class set of hot glue sticks is something we never thought would be achievable. Sharing hot glue has been a struggle for many years and can cause a lot of frustration for students during the creation process, but that is no more! Students were shocked to see all the hot glue guns and the various colors they came in. Many students happy to report there were pink ones!
The glue sticks will come in handy for gluing worksheets into sketchbooks and the liquid glue will help replenish our sick and empty looking glue bottles that have seen better days. Students are overjoyed with the generosity and the new supplies they get to work with!
Thank you so much from all of us! You rock!”

Artists need Math Tools
Funded Dec 7, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom. The protractors, compasses, and stencils that we now get to use in the art room is a game changer! Students were overjoyed to learn about all the new, fun math "gadgets" they get to use in the classroom to make art with. Students were so eager to get their hands on them that they even unboxed them themselves once they arrived! Opening school supplies and unboxing the surprise was awesome!
These new additions make creating perfect circles a breeze in the park. The protractors students are using to make straight lines and various angles in their works. The stencils have been awesome for students to flip through as they can spark creative ideas! We are so thankful for donors like you! You rock!”

Keeping the Art Room Sparkly Clean
Funded Dec 2, 2024Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom. The baby wipes and cleaning cloths are greatly loved and appreciated by all. These items make clean-up in the classroom a breeze, which provides more working time for students to create and learn. Keeping the classroom as sparkly as possible helps boost the mood in our room and brings joy a lot of students.
There is nothing like coming into class and being able to sit down to a clean space to call yours to make art. The baby wipes make cleaning up paint spills and splatters an easy task opposed to a daunting one. Cleaning up any mess with scratchy paper towels is hard. The microfiber cleaning cloths allow students to easily wipe down clay dust to reduce the mess and wipe down countertops in a pinch.
We thank you for allowing our class to sparkle!”

Art Without Distraction
Funded Dec 3, 2024We are loving the new addition of the window cling in our little art classroom! The clings still lets in natural light, which is great for visualizing projects and colors, but does not allow students to be distracted by the various outdoor festivities around our school, such as lawn care, the sprinkler system, and the wildlife roaming around.
Students were shocked to see the window cling and have been loving the fun colors the clings lets off in the sunshine. While it may take some adjusting, students have been more focused and we have noticed a positive impact from the new products donated to our classroom. Working distraction free is important in our classroom. We thank you again and look forward to the sunshine!”
