Funded Feb 11, 2025Thank you so much for helping us get a class set of drawing boards! Students had an absolute blast receiving and unboxing these. It was a group effort to get them all unwrapped!
These have been a game changer to have in our classroom and the students have loved getting to use them. The boards have allowed students to transport work easily without bending or folding their work. It has also provided them opportunities to draw with more choice in where they can sit in the classroom.
We have also taken the boards outside to sketch some of our work! They are extremely helpful on a windy day! Thank you so much for supporting art education!”

Artists Need Paper
Funded Feb 5, 2025Thank you so much for your support in education! We have been trying very hard to build our art program within our school and none of this would be possible without the support you have provided! Paper is a consumable materials that we use on a daily basis that serves so many purposes, such as sketching, planning, note taking, and actual project making. We have used this paper to recently create optical illusions using markers and Sharpies, which turned out AMAZING! It can sometimes be restricting to force students to use smaller paper due to the supply we have, but this donation has allowed students to create on a larger scale. The challenge of a larger scale has allowed students to creatively think and plan their design, making them stronger artists. Thank you so much! You rock!”

Funded Dec 7, 2024Thank you so much for supporting this project! Glaze is a consumable material in the art room that gets used a lot in our ceramics and pottery classes. Some colors are more loved on that others...the winner being bright white! Sharing the bottles can be difficult and frustrating at times so allowing a broader spectrum of colors provides more experimentation and creativity with pottery! It also ensures there are plenty to go around. We have not had the chance to use the glazes yet as our kiln is out of service, but we are all very excited to see what vibrant fun colors we have when it is fixed. We thank you for supporting arts in education. You are a rockstar!”

Artists Need Storage
Funded Dec 15, 2024Thank you so much for supporting our classroom and art education! We have been loving the supplies from this project. Each item is used on a daily basis for multiple reasons. Our paint pallets have been holding liquid watercolor, glaze, and acrylic paint. The freezer bags have allowed students who have been absent to take home paint to use to complete their make -up work (which has been a game changer for getting students caught up!). The condiment cups have been used as small water buckets, the hold mixed paint colors, and to house slip for ceramics! We thank you so much for your donation and support to build the art program these kids deserve!”

Artists Need Shelves
Funded Jan 31, 2025Thank you so much for supporting art education! Storage in the art room is always something that requires a lot of "engineering," but in the end there always tends to be piles of student artwork and supplies around the room.
This project is aiming to help keep student work organized and easily accessible to them. When the shelves were delivered, a group of students were tasked with assembling the shelves (most raved about how much fun building furniture was!). I call that a win in my book!
We have started to use the shelves to store pottery. Two shelves are being used to house bone dry clay that needs to be loaded into the kiln and the two other shelves are being used to hold bisque fired pottery that needs to be glazed. Prior to this, all the pottery was on the counter top mixed together and students were confused about what stage the pottery was at. This has cleared up a lot of confusion as the new shelves are clearly labeled.
Thank you so much for helping us stay organized! You are a rockstar!”

Artists Need Paint Markers
Funded Dec 24, 2024We are so thankful and grateful to have this project funded! Paint markers are a luxury item to have in the art classroom, but they really are a game changer for creating detail in student work. Students are always shocked when I offer them a paint marker in the classroom. They are in awe when they see how easy it makes creating highlights in their artwork and they see the difference it makes to their final piece. It truly goes 0 to 100. With the wide range of colors this project provided, the possibilities in creating are endless! Thank you so much for supporting art education! You are a rockstar!”

Artists Need Responsibility
Funded Jan 31, 2025Thank you so much for supporting this project! When these items came in I unboxed all of them and began to fill each container with a set of paintbrushes and put tape with students' names on top. In the art room, paint brushes are one of the most loved on items....sometime so much love they start to look unloved. Over time, handles falls off, the wood expands and splinters due to water, and the bristles don't get washed enough to use again.
By implementing this project, students are assigned a paintbrush set and they are responsible for the care of them. This teaches students to take action and keep up with the supplies and materials we have to use. Many previous students have come in jealous of the new paint brush sets because they had to use very unloved paintbrushes. I am excited for this project and look forward to the many happy paintbrushes we have to come!
Thank you for supporting public education! You rock!”
