My students need a comfortable and relaxing environment in which to learn. A rug would be perfect for them to sit on in the morning. It is very hard for them to focus and concentrate on their assignments. I have to provide flexible seating and many other options for them. Those options change daily for my kids depending on what is going on with them. I also would love to be able to display their books for easier access. A bookshelf is vital to their exposure to good literature. I am trying to provide a nurturing and calm refuge for them in their oftentimes chaotic life. I try to surround them with beauty and brightness which I feel is something they are lacking in their lives. I am thankful for the opportunity to teach them.
