Bilingual Buddies Need a Classroom Rug!
Funded Aug 24, 2024I would like to send a sincere thank you for the help that your contribution has made in my classroom. The project bilingual buddies, which entailed a bilingual rug, has made a tremendous difference in the interaction and collaboration of students engaging in learning both languages, English and Spanish. This rug has been a primary focal
point, as well as a key classroom management for transitioning to a meeting area for class discussions.
Classroom management has been successful with this rug. Students participate and demonstrate autonomy.”

Funded Apr 23, 2018First, I would like to say thank you again for your contributions towards our goal. We couldn't do it without you. My students were so motivated with their new kidney table. They were eager to do small group work effortlessly. This table is utilized daily for small group instruction or 1:1 intervention by staff and students. This allows our classroom the much needed meeting area for 1:1 conferences or as a group for guided reading. As you can see from the pictures I posted, my students are very happy. Everyone should have one in their class.
As I mentioned before, we are a bilingual special education class, but sadly, we don't have many resources in Spanish. When we received the few books from our project, they loved hearing the stories and were eager to borrow the books. I hope to add more books in Spanish to our library.
Finally, our Stem items, the Engineer-A-Coaster and the magnetic easel has been a huge hit. All of my students love this activity. It has foster creativity among each other and has provided great opportunities for critical thinking. I am so pleased that my students were so fortunate to experience all these items from this project. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for your help. Thank you for making a difference in our leaders of tomorrow.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Crespo
