These resources have already started to bring life into the learning environment, offering students a joyful and interactive way to practice English.

A Journal a Day Keeps Our Students in Play
Funded Aug 30, 2023Thank you so much for your generous contributions to our classroom project! The spiralbound notebooks have been a game-changer for my students. We have used these notebooks weekly throughout the year for various writing activities, including journaling, creative writing prompts, and collaborative storytelling. One specific project we recently completed was a personal narrative assignment where each student wrote about a significant moment in their life. The notebooks provided a personal and organized space for students to brainstorm, draft, and revise their stories, leading to some incredibly heartfelt and thoughtful narratives. The structure of the notebooks has also helped students stay more organized and engaged in their writing, promoting a deeper connection to their work.
When the students first started using the notebooks, I saw improved engagement from the beginning! Their enthusiasm to use the journals and put pencil to paper set a positive tone for our writing sessions. Notebooks will continue to be a vital tool for capturing students' thoughts and ideas and developing their writing process, and I look forward to using journals like these in the years to come to see students' creativity flourish.
