IPADS For My Kindergarten Scholars!

Funded Apr 7, 2018

My students were so excited to receive these new iPads and were excited to start learning on them. Since many do not have computers at home and have great difficulty sitting for a long period of time during lessons, writing or reading the iPads were a great addition to help my student engage and motivate them to like learning. They would ask to play their sight word games and they learned how to take turns with each other along with working towards something. This has also increased their desire to write and read new sight words in order to play new games for harder words. My students love the animation and life the iPad brings to their learning.

My struggling students have gained a lot from having this addition in our classroom since it gave them more independence in their learning and it helped keep them engaged and on track to keep up with the class. My shy and emotionally disturbed students also benefited more from the iPad by giving them games they can play with a friend and share which helped them bond and open up to others. It has taught them how to problem solve better and express themselves when they want to take a turn or know an answer during a team game.

My students loved their new learning tools and were excited to try them with their individual learning and with a friend or group. They were even more excited to know that it came from a group of people from different places who have such kind hearts to donate to our classroom and their education. They were very grateful, as am I, to your generous contribution to the past year and future students for years to come. Thank you so much from the bottom of the hearts of our Kindergarten ICT class and their teachers.”

With gratitude,

Ms. Castellanos
