• Rewards for Hard Work!

  Each week the students in our class have a chance to "shop" as a reward for their hard work and dedication to their learning. Students have had the chance to shop for sticky hands, mini-plushies, slime balls, light up rings, smelly pencils and pencil toppers, as well as various types of mini-toys and fidget toys.

  Our students couldn't believe their eyes with the variety of reward choice available for them. We have seen students venture out of their comfort zone and explore new rewards options.”

• Help Refill Our Basic Classroom Supplies

  Thank you so much for your donations to our classroom. We greatly appreciate your generosity.

  Clorox Wipes, paper towels, baby wipes, and gloves have helped in keeping the students in our classroom keep themselves and their desks neat and clean. These items have also helped keep our classroom neat and germ free in the high traffic areas. Bandaids have helped our students avoid missing class time when they have minor cuts/scrapes. Sheet protectors have helped our students keep and use their math tools over and over again. The water bottles have ensured that all of our students have a means to stay hydrated throughout the day.”

• Help Stock Our Classroom

  Thank you so much for you kind and generous donations to our classroom. Your donation helped start our students year off in a happy and successful way. Students received their own supply pouches filled with pens, dry erase markers, and highlighters. Students also received Ziplock baggies to use for storage for their independent reading books. We also have many as back ups. Students use their dry erase pockets as part of their math toolkit. They can now use the pockets as a place to show their mathematical thinking. The wipes help keep our classroom clean.

• End of Year Rewards!

  Funded May 9, 2023

  Thank you so much for your generous donations for End of the Year Rewards for my students. Before this project was funded I had learned my students never had their own board games to play. Through the funding of this project that all changed.

  My students were so excited to have their very own miniature board games! They were able to play these games with their classmates and families and can be used again and again.

  My students were also so excited to their other end of the year goodies. The notebooks, erasers, stickers, cubes, and bags all added to their joy an excitement.

  Thank you so much for your generous and kind donations for our classroom. Your donation has helped stock our classroom with much needed materials. Having the notebooks, pencils, masks, soaps, and tissues in the classroom has relieved so much stress and anxiety for both the students in this class and their families. Knowing that there are supplies to keep the learning going strong have helped keep this school year and class on track. The laminating supplies help ensure that learning materials are durable and ready to use for a long time in the future.”

• Powering Up Our Learning!

  Thank you so much for supporting this charging station project! My students are now bringing their iPads to school every day, knowing they have a safe charging space. They are eager to charge their devices in our classroom with the knowledge that they do not have to share chargers or charging time with others at home.

  This project has also helped my students become responsible for their devices and therefore their learning. The students in my class feel comfortable saying that their device needs to be charged.”

• Back to Basics...Back to School...

  Thank you so much your kindness and generosity! The materials for this project made the transition back to school seamless and easy for my students. It gave them one less thing to worry about! We were able to get to work on building a community of learners!

  During the first week of school, my students each received notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers, pencil cases, and dry erase markers. My students were all so happy and excited to have the same supplies as their classmates!

• Remote Teaching Technology

  By funding this project you have provided my students and with so many opportunities and a better education.

  AirPods allow my students to hear and interact with me distraction free, both in groups and individually. Using a dedicated iPad and Pencil afford many opportunities. An iPad helps me be in two Zoom places as once - working with a group of students and working independently with a student. Students always have access to ask questions, check-in and grow as learners. Using the iPad and Pencil I am able to show my students how to solve math problems in real time, how to edit their writing, and how to navigate their new world of technology enhanced education.”
