I am looking to improve my students critical thinking skills, and help them become creative problem solvers. Today's science standards focus on being able to incorporate science, technology, math and engineering into daily learning. A good way to make this possible is by providing them with materials like Legos, Knex, and other building things. These will be utilized as "morning work bins" rather than worksheets. These toys/games will teach them how to look at problems in many different ways. Who doesn't love building with different types of materials? Don't tell the children they are learning, and you'd be surprised at how inventive they can be. Please help me grow their brains!
