The students get an opportunity to professionally record, journal, and edit documentaries for the school's history and current community outreach, such as our annual school-wide Unity Fest. The equipment must meet certain criteria in order to record not only outdoors but indoors, such as the auditorium. I chose a camera that meets all these requirements for all possible scenarios since we often only have one chance to be successful. The Media Librarian will coordinate photojournalism, our Year Book teacher will help teach editing, and I will teach photography.
