Robotic Resources!
Funded Dec 5, 2022Thank you so much for your kind donations. The students enjoyed the materials so much. It allowed them to work together as a team and engage in fun stem activities. Students worked collaboratively to program the robots after building them. My students from kindergarten to fifth grade enjoyed the activities and felt inspired and accomplished while doing so. These resources allowed them to feel a sense of accomplishment that they would not otherwise know. They now understand the importance of expanding your horizons and embracing stem challenges for themselves.”

Funded Mar 18, 2022Thank you so much again for the Lego resources you provided my students. They used the materials for after school enrichment and during school they were able to use the materials as well. They loved spending time with all the Lego kits and learning how to work through the design process. Students are looking forward to learning more through Lego education. My next steps are to eventually train them to compete with legos or put on a Lego showcase for the community. Many students are inspired to take their passion for design and turn it into a career. I would love for students to experience more creative challenges and problem solving using Lego education curriculum.”

Funded Mar 11, 2022My students have enjoyed playing together as a team. They have had a blast with the scoops and balls especially. Recess and PE are so much more engaging! Students have also been able to work together to develop strategies and create new exciting rules for the games they play. They have learned to enjoy working with each other while making their time together as fun as possible. When they first saw the materials, the students eyes grew wide and they were elated for something new to play with in school. Every student hadn't ever played booker-ball, baseball or scoop ball. So for them, these sports were such a treat to learn how to play! As their teacher, it was such a joy to see them have so much fun together.”

Funded Oct 6, 2021Thank you so much for your generous donation! My students have had the best time with the games and hands-on materials. I use the folder games as daily practice for English language arts and math. We used the STEAM kits to build cars when we were learning about force and motion. When my students first saw the materials, they were so excited to do the hands-on activities. They learn something new every time I pull out the learning games. As far as our next steps, I will be starting a STEM club in March. We will meet a few times a week to do science experiments using the scientific method. This will be an awesome opportunity for students to participate in an extracurricular and practice their presentation skills because, we will have a STEAM showcase for students to present their projects. Thank you again so much for helping us increase student engagement here in Alaska. As a teacher, I can not thank you enough for your contributions to my students' learning experience.”
