My students are artistic and have a love for learning and creating visual art. My students live in a high poverty location in the big city. Most of the students that I teach speak two languages: Spanish and English. My students will use the watercolor paper to be artistic by exploring their senses, express emotion.
Giving my students a variety of brush sizes, they will have the opportunity to explore process and outcomes. We are a Title I school; the majority of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch. They face many daily challenges but love coming to school every day. They are awesome students to teach and to be able to work with weekly.
