Our kid friendly biography books will help my students understand history and experiences through another person's eyes, which may spark more questions from my students as they learn about these people. These biography books invite my students into people's lives, allowing them to observe them as they grapple with challenges and make important decisions. My students will now be able to benefit from reading biographies because it will create empathy and understanding of others as they read and these books allows them to see the world in new ways. My goal is to have every student in classroom prepared and ready with all the back to school supplies. By having supplies ready for those students who were unable to bring in their own, I was able to get my entire class ready to kick off the year. With more and more independent work being done through technology it is essential my students have headphones to allow them to listen better and focus on what they are working on. These headphones also allow them to record themselves when they are asked to record themselves speaking on an assignment. These headphones are the perfect addition to our classroom. My students couldn't be more excited to have them. My students are experiencing both difficulties and unexpected benefits with the online formats as they navigate technology and accommodations in the classrooms with technology. Having air pods has helped my students hear better on their assignments. It gives them a clear sound and are able to participate and understand all things being taught. My students academic performance has absolutely improved since the big changes has been made. Thank you for making a difference in their education.”

The project you helped fund through your generous donation to my project enables students to receive items needed to keep them protected and safe from getting sick at school. The masks, lysol spray, wipes, and hand soap is a very important in our current time of COVID. These items are vital to keeping the students healthy and clean. Sanitizing the students desk and items helps lowers the number of germs on surfaces and in turn will keep them healthy and keep them in school learning.”

My school is part of a public school district that is approximately 98 hispanic, 65 economically disadvantaged, and 33 limited English. All my students come to school with the desire to be 100 percent successful. My third grade class consist of 22 energetic and enthusiastic learners. I teach to boys and girls who come with a smile, ready to learn and who love their school environment. While most of their backgrounds may be similar in traditions and culture, their needs are diverse.
About my class
