  • The Gift of Giving Books

    Funded Dec 13, 2024

Wow! Our class will be so excited about this opportunity and your generous donation! THANK YOU!!! Our books will be given as a Christmas gift to my 42 students before we leave on Winter break. These books will have so many wonderful affects on my kids. They will help build a strong foundation in literacy by increasing my students attention span for longer stories and strengthening vocabulary and comprehension. There's also more to be gained from these books than just technical reading skills. My students will have somewhere to escape to over break! Somewhere they can go to relax their minds and their problems for a little while. They will also love the fact they will be able to AR test on all these books when they return from break. I can not wait to see how excited they will be when they open up their presents. This will mean so much to them!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Villarreal

  • Money Matters

    Funded Dec 9, 2024

Thank you for your generous donation to my class project on Donors Choose. Your contribution will help give my students the opportunity to use teacher created resources that are colorful, fun, and most importantly engaging. These resources are special because they are not only printable but unique in that many are applicable to our technology platform. My students enjoy the activities by TPT and with this opportunity more lessons that provide interactive and creative lessons will be possible. The best thing about using TPT is that they are created by teachers who know exactly what our kids need. AGAIN, THANK YOU!”

    With gratitude,

  • Originality Unleashed, Creativity Embraced With a Cricut JOY

    Funded Mar 27, 2024

My classroom Cricut has allowed me to make staff, student, and room gifts cheap and easy. Here are a few examples:

I was able to make end of the year gifts for my students and had the students help make parent gifts. This has been a great help.

I have also been able to create student created activities to help decorate our classroom. I have also been able to use the Cricut in the classroom to label backpacks or reading bags for my students! Classroom decorating is important because it is a welcoming environment for my students and it has been a breeze when I started using the classroom Cricut! You can make your own banners using your favorite scrapbook paper. Or create name tags, decorate bulletin boards, add some pizzazz to the hall way. All of those amazing quotes or wording you see on the walls of a classroom, I have been able to create that as well! The possibilities are seriously endless and my students love it all!”

    Mrs. Villarreal
