  • Vroom Vroom! Interactive Play With Cars!

    Funded Nov 30, 2021

Thank you for donating to our classroom project, we are thankful for your contributions. Playing with vehicles affords a wonderful opportunity for interactive play and the development of social skills such as communication and turn taking. This allows children to build confidence and establish relationships with other children and siblings, as well as enhancing language skills and building vocabulary.

The students enjoy playing with the toy cars and it has created fun opportunities for the children to play and learn.

Thank you for always believing in my classroom projects and for granting my classroom the opportunity to have quality educational materials.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cervantes

  • Dressing Up Is Fun

    Funded Nov 10, 2021

Thank you for donating to my classroom project. Your contribution has helped further develop a more engaging and imagination driven dramatic play are in our classroom. The children love the house are and they especially enjoy dressing up. I enjoy watching them explore the different dress up clothing and watch them engage in conversation.

giving the children access to dress up clothes increases language and social skills amongst the children in the classroom. One minute they are chefs, cooking up the most delicious pizza and the next minute they are firefighters, ready to save the world.

Thank you for being a part of this project and helping us learn through play.”

  • Visuals Make Preschool Easier

    Funded Mar 31, 2021

Thank you for supporting my students and classroom during the pandemic. Your donations have made such a huge difference in our classroom. The students in my class will have their own math counter set and their desks, toy shelf and cubby's will be properly labeled with their name tags. The math counters will be used during math activities which include patters, sorting and subtilizing. Having the appropriate visuals in preschool is important because it further supports students following classroom routines, and transitions.”

  • Technology in the Classroom

    Funded Aug 17, 2020

Thank you for supporting my classroom and students during distance learning. With your help, I have been able to bring technology resources to the students in my classroom. I have been able to use the iPad to create lessons and resources for my students. I have used the iPad to record lessons, and print materials to mail to families during distance learning.

Upon returning to school, that iPad will be used in the classroom to enrich and extend lessons. Prior to this project being funded, I did not have any technology in the classroom, and now I will be able to start a technology center where children can make use of the iPad and online learning activities.

Thank you for your continued support, I really appreciate you all.”

These materials will make a difference in the lives of my students because it will give me the tools I need to create fun, engaging and age appropriate content during distance learning. I will use the iPad and Tripod to record lessons and interactive read alouds that children can access in comfort of their homes. Pre-recording lessons and creating content for google classroom will allow working parents to access the learning materials at a time that is convenient for their family schedule. Once we return back to school campus physically, the children will have access to the iPad, and will be able to use the iPad for daily use. Having an iPad in the classroom will increase learning opportunities for children who are both visual and auditory learners because they will have access to educational content such as nursery rhymes, children's books, emergent writing, and STEM.
