Resources for Intervention
Funded Feb 7, 2018Thank you so much for helping me bring these resources to my students. The students had an amazing time exploring their vowel sounds and constant blends in a way that is both fun and engaging. Initially, when I told the students that they would be able to work with stamps they screamed "best day ever." Students were having fun being able to pick through the stamps, look at the pictures and decipher which sound was missing. It was like a treasure hunt for of sounds to the students. Thanks to your donations my students were able to explore essential reading concepts in such an unconventional way that brighten up there experience.”

3D Pens for Everything from Writing to Creating
Funded Nov 29, 2017We are so thankful for our 3D Pens for Everything from Writing to Creating project. Students were able to use the pens in centers. Students took turns within each class to participate in the writing process that was more engaging then just using a pencil. The students were so thrilled to have the chance to experience working with new technology in the classroom.
With these materials, students learned to enhance their creative skills as well as the motor skills needed to draw, paint and even write. Students were able to work on projects until they completed a masterpiece they were happy to take home.
This project was so successful, that we hope to continue it next year.
Thank you for helping my students learn in a fun, creative and artistic way!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Yencer

Funded Jan 10, 2016The effect this project has had on the students I serve daily was beyond my expectation. As a group, the students were able to use the markers and papers to better understand the lesson while making anchor carts and posters for the class. Their academic growth was phenomenal. I also was able to service students better with the materials needed to build a class culture that implements systems and organizes their materials for a safe and fun learning environment. The pencils can in handy and students loved having an electric sharper in class that was fast and readily available. As many of the students come from low-underprivileged households and they cannot afford to make purchases outside their basic needs. So, this project has impacted them in a positive and less shameful way.
Not only was each of my three classes impacted by this project, but other teachers in my grade level as I shared the resources with them. We saw tremendous growth in the classroom cultures once students were able to eliminate the embarrassment of not having certain materials in class and just focus on their task at hand.
I have observed a change in students' attitude toward learning. I know that because of the resources we received from the generous donors, the excitement I see in students for attending class and coming to school is beyond my belief. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sponsoring this project.”
