    Thank you so very much for your generous donation of healthy snacks to our classroom! All of the students enjoyed the granola bars, pretzels, low-calorie packs of chips, juice boxes, and other yummy food and drink items! Your donations have helped students in getting their much-needed nourishment throughout the school day to help them re-energize and stay focused in school. A lot of times the students come to school hungry, so these donations of snacks have helped to curb their appetites and allowed them to be successful in school!

  • Snacks to Help Re-Energize Student Learning

    Funded Feb 7, 2017

    Thank you so very much for providing our classroom with snacks to help re-energize student learning. The breakfast and snack foods that were sent to our classroom have helped students focus on their work and not on hungry, grumbling stomachs. This donation has been such a relief especially since we're nearing the end of the school year.

    I always have a supply of food for hungry students that may not have gotten any food since the previous days school lunch. However, this time of year I always get extra food for testing. The students can't concentrate when they haven't eaten and taking snack breaks really improves their focus.

  • Igniting Student Discovery with STEM Circuit Kits

    Thank you so very much for your kind and generous donations! You were essential in helping to bring STEM circuit kits to my classroom! These circuit kits have made a great educational impact on my students! There has been so much amazement in students' eyes as they complete a circuit project build! These snap circuit kids provides many learning opportunities and helps them to understand difficult concepts such as conductance, resistors, wires, switches and how to read the circuit diagrams in the book. They are super thrilled to have these kits!

  • Drawing Solutions to Math Problems with 3Doodler Pens

    Funded Dec 11, 2016

    These 3Doodler pens have made a tremendous impact on my classroom. Creating is the highest-order thinking skill, and with these pens, my students are able to create projects that help them visualize concepts they've learned in math, language arts, science, and in all of various subject areas.

    Students were able to easily get the pens up and running and the ABS plastic flowing. On the first day that I brought the pens out, students were drawing their names, creating "sunglasses", various geometric shapes, spring coils, stick figure people, flowers, towers, anything they could imagine.

    As we move onto our geometry unit, I'm excited to have my students use these 3Doodler pens to help build their content knowledge by designing and printing the various geometric shapes we'll be learning about.

  • Computer Mice Needed for STEM Program

    Funded Sep 24, 2016

    My students are very thrilled to finally have access to computer mouses! It has made utilizing the many math, reading, and educational software programs they use daily on their Chromebook computers a whole lot easier. Students are more engaged and their learning experiences have been greatly enhanced since they started using the computer mouses. Furthermore, it has opened up more opportunities such as allowing them to design and print 3D models, allowing them to graph and plot specific points on three-dimensional coordinate planes--which would have been nearly impossible to do if they only had to use the finger trackpads provided on their Chromebook computers. Once again, thank you all very much for your donations as it has tremendously been a great help to all of my students and their education!”
