• Empowering Young Engineers' Stem and Sel Skills With Squishy Circuits

  With the new materials, we have been able to explore the fascinating world of electronics and creativity in a hands-on way. Recently, we embarked on a classroom project where students created their own interactive circuits using conductive and insulating dough. One moment that truly stood out was when a group of students designed a light-up flower that illuminated when they pressed the petals. Their excitement and pride in their creations were palpable, making it a memorable learning experience.

  When my students first laid eyes on the Squishy Circuits materials, their reactions were filled with awe and curiosity. They were eager to dive in and experiment, asking questions and brainstorming ideas for their projects. This enthusiasm has transformed our learning environment into one of collaboration and innovation. As we move forward, the next steps involve integrating these circuits into our science curriculum by exploring basic principles of electricity and circuits. Students will be tasked with designing a project that incorporates their new knowledge, allowing them to showcase their creativity while reinforcing their understanding of scientific concepts. Since receiving the resources, my students have engaged in hands-on learning activities that have significantly enhanced their understanding of engineering and design principles. For instance, we recently embarked on a project to build balloon-powered cars. The excitement was palpable as students eagerly gathered around the tables, experimenting with different designs using the rubber bands, LEGO pieces, and cutting tools. • Seahorses Soar with Forces of Flight!

  I would like to extend a heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of flight materials and science kits. Your support has significantly enriched our science / STEM curriculum, allowing our elementary school students to engage in hands-on learning experiences that promote curiosity and creativity. The kits have provided invaluable resources for our recent lessons on the forces of flight, where students have had the opportunity to design and construct their own kites and airplanes.

  During our recent class project, students explored the principles of aerodynamics and the four forces of flight: lift, weight, thrust, and drag. They eagerly worked in teams, experimenting with different designs and materials to see how these forces interacted in real-time. The excitement in the classroom was palpable as students launched their creations, cheering each other on and sharing their discoveries. • Seahorses Staying Safe: Umbrellas for School Days

  My students and I are so grateful for your generous donation. These umbrellas have been an incredible addition to our STEM classroom and have made a real difference for our students as they move around our large campus.

  When the students first saw the umbrellas, they were thrilled! They immediately started brainstorming designs and couldn't wait to get started painting them. Over the past few weeks, the students have been working diligently to personalize their umbrellas with vibrant colors, patterns, and inspirational messages. They have taken so much pride in creating these one-of-a-kind umbrellas. During our outdoor lessons and when traveling across campus, the umbrellas have provided essential protection from the sun and rain. The students feel more comfortable and confident navigating our large school grounds, knowing they have their custom umbrellas to keep them cool and dry. This thoughtful donation has truly enhanced the learning experience for our students. We cannot thank you enough for your support!”

The Smart Glasses, STEM Building Puzzles, and AR Merge Cube have revolutionized the way our students engage with STEM learning. The Smart Glasses have provided an immersive educational experience, allowing students to explore complex concepts through augmented reality. They have been particularly effective in teaching subjects like biology and physics, where students can visualize molecular structures or see simulations of physical phenomena in real-time. This hands-on approach has made abstract concepts much more tangible and understandable. The most exciting aspect for the students has been the interactive and collaborative nature of these tools. The STEM Building Puzzles have encouraged teamwork and problem-solving, fostering a sense of achievement as students work together to construct intricate models. The AR Merge Cube has been a favorite among students, as it combines the physical and digital worlds, letting them manipulate 3D objects and conduct virtual experiments. • Seahorses in Need of Storage Spaces and Snacks to Succeed!

  The joy and excitement on the students' faces when they first saw the materials were truly heartwarming. They were eager to start organizing their supplies and indulging in the healthy snacks. The storage containers have brought a new level of organization to our classroom. Each grade now has dedicated containers for their supplies, making it easy for students to find what they need and keep their learning spaces tidy. This has significantly reduced the time spent searching for materials, allowing more time for productive learning activities. The snacks have been a huge hit! Many of our students come from homes where access to nutritious food is limited. Providing them with healthy snacks has not only helped in keeping their energy levels up throughout the day but has also fostered a sense of community as they share and enjoy these treats together.
