Shoeing Up for the Season
Funded Aug 13, 2019Your support has brought a great pride and self worth to my student athletes. They are competing with confidence knowing they have been provided top equipment that other wise they would not have. The students success is even showing in the class room by achieving high academic scores because without grades they know they can not compete. This support has given a great lift to our program and we hope you will continue to support other programs in need. Once again thank you for providing my student -athletes with mor than just gear, but confidence and pride that some one cares about their sport.”

Funded Jan 13, 2019Your generous contribution meant so much my team, until we got the new team bags we did not have enough team bags for everyone to have one. The day that we got them everyone of my kids was filled with so much joy, especially the kids that did not get bags when we would go on our road duals.
On the day of All City Finals on of my kids came up and said,"Know that I have a Team bag I really feel like I am apart of this team". This young lady had to really on a team member to carry her gear and she was so proud to carry her gear in her own bag. She was instrumental in helping us win All City by upsetting the number one seed by a pin and placing second. Thank you for helping our team with your donation it helped us greatly.”

Funded Oct 2, 2018The wrestling season is up and running and the student athletes are hard at work getting used to their new wrestling shoes. The kids have not stopped smiling since I gave them their new wrestling shoes, one of my kids is already predicting that he will be wearing these shoes all the way to the state meet. Some of our kids have admitted that if it had not been for your support, they would not have had the opportunity to wrestle cause they could not have purchased their wrestling shoes. Since your contribution dreams are being made realities.”

Funded Sep 28, 2017Your support has allowed many of my kids that other wise could not afford to purchase wrestling shoes, which are necessary to wrestle. It brought about team pride and because they were unified no one felt that they were any better then anyone else on the team.
As a team we received many compliments from other coach's and teams about how unified we were as a team and this gave our kids pride to be apart of the Taft wrestling program. It also taught them responsibility and each child took great care to make sure their shoes were well taken care of all season long.
We are grateful for your help to unify the Taft Wrestling team and provide us with top quality wrestling shoes.”

A New Beginning
Funded Oct 19, 2016The arrival of the new gear brought pride and team unity to my team. They felt as if they were special and a part of something very important. We had no one ineligible during the season and very few behavioral issues. The success that we had was only deterred based on the fact that this was the first time we have had the sport of wrestling in six years and still we managed to have three All City Champions, a runner-up, and a third place finisher, along with qualify nine wrestlers for state. This brought about a since of pride to the team and they cannot wait for next year.”
With gratitude,
Mr. De Nolf
