• We Like To Move It, Move It!

  My students love their new Hoki Stools. They use them while they sit with me during group work to keep them engaged, during reading time, and also while they are doing group activities. They were so excited to see them. They said they never seen chairs that move like this or even look like this. I want them to be able to have some motivation to see differentiated seating and be empowered to make choices of seating, other than your traditional chair. Thank you for your generations donations! • Have a Seat, Anywhere!

  Thank you very much for purchasing these items for my classroom! Reading is now a joy to teach. Reading should be for enjoyment and with this new furniture, my students are choosing comfortable spots with their new pillows, body pillows, and the exercise balls. My new stool has allowed me to move around the classroom with ease and be able to get on eye level with students as I conference with them about what they are reading and writing. They were so excited to have comfortable seating and choices to use them while they read. They love sitting in my stool to share their writings with their peers. Students are looking forward to continuing finding their just right spots in the classroom during reading and writing time. Thank you all again.”

• What Sense Does That Number Make?

  2-6 appreciates the generous gestures of the math games in our classroom. Math is more engaging for them and they find math more amusing to learn. They really were excited about playing actual board games during math time, as well using different manipulatives to learn how to find the answers to problems. We plan on using them during center rotations and also when they have completed their required work throughout the day so they are constantly getting review for math skills.

• Make Yourself Comfy!

  My students have expressed such excitement with their new stools. They really want to say thank you to you all that donated them to our classroom. They are asking when they can get more because they enjoy moving around in them so much! They think they are very appeasing to the classroom and are fun to sit in. I am using them in our reading center for the kids to read on their iPads and regular books in our classroom library and also they can use them at their seats. These seats have improve attention spans tremendously because they are moving around and sitting still at their desks. They really enjoy working at their seats and other places in the classroom with them. I have greatly enjoyed these stools and our class really loves them a lot!”
