Needed: Supplies for Students to Get Through the Day!
Funded Nov 4, 2024Thank you for your incredible support! With your help, our classroom is now set up to foster independence and collaboration. The 3-tier cart, stocked with essential supplies like pencils, loose-leaf paper, and tissues, has already made a huge impact. Students were thrilled when they first saw it and quickly took ownership of keeping it organized.
This resource has empowered them to work efficiently in small groups, stay prepared, and support one another without constant teacher assistance. Your generosity has truly helped create a more self-sufficient and engaged learning environment. We appreciate you!”

Help My Students Have Needed Classroom Supplies!
Funded Oct 26, 2024Thank you so much for supporting our classroom! When my students first saw the new materials, their excitement was contagious—they couldn't wait to dive in! We've been using them for all of our day-to-day classroom work, and it has truly transformed their learning experience.
These resources have opened up new opportunities for hands-on learning, deepening their understanding and engagement. Up next, we'll be using them during our lesson on implementing Design Thinking as we read "The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind," and I can't wait to see their continued growth. Your generosity has made a real impact, and we are so grateful!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Comfort
This classroom project was brought to life by Smarties Candy Company and 2 other donors.A Cozy Corner and Books - Perfect!
Funded Feb 6, 2019Thank you for your generous donation to help fund our "Cozy Reading Corner." We begin our reading block with 15-20 minutes of independent reading and when they saw the bean bags and new books to choose from, it was a celebration in the classroom. From the first day we received the bean bags, they have looked forward to taking turns on the bags, enjoying reading the diverse selection of novels you helped bring to our library.
Each day when they enter the classroom, they are eager to get settled and read. What a transformation from earlier in the year when reading time was spent in hearing kids say "I don't like to read" or "reading is so boring." Imagine, something as simple as creating a comfortable, cozy space within the classroom and having diverse books to choose from, has changed their perspective on reading. I am truly grateful for your donation to our project.
Thank you again for helping to create a cozy corner in our classroom, helping to foster a love of reading in my students and exposing them to the diversity of books that are reflective of their interests and lives.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Comfort
