  • Creating Creative Minds!

    Funded Jun 8, 2022

This project has helped my students design items of their choice to start thinking like young entrepreneurs. Students have designed items such as cups, tote bags, and tshirts. It gives them a sense of independence, and critical thinking skills. It allows them to realize that they can create with their hands, and can sell it to people and start their own businesses. My students were surprised with the items they were able to create using the cricut machines. When they first saw the machines they didn't understand what they would be able to make, and now they know that their possibilities are endless! My next step with the students is going to be trying to sell items they have made in the school store and help the school raise money for various events! My students thank you from the bottom of their hearts for all you have contributed.

  • Help Us Become Young Entrepreneurs!

    Funded Jan 23, 2020

It's hard to put into words how grateful I am for your donation to my project. I am committed to providing students with a relevant curriculum that develops lifelong skills, and it is inspiring to see so many others that share my vision for education. The tools that you have funded will enable students to engage in problem solving deeply connected to their communities and their lives. They will fully explore the Design Cycle, from research and drafting to creation and evaluation. Students are incredibly excited to begin the project.”

    With gratitude,

  • Flexible Seating for STEM Classroom

    Funded Aug 1, 2019

I want to start off by saying thank you to all my donors that helped get my project funded. My students are really enjoying the additional seating options that are available this year in my classroom. The students in a traditional classroom are forced to sit in a standard chair all day long. This becomes uncomfortable for some students. My flexible seating provides students an opportunity to either sit in a bean bag chair or a floor laptop/notebook table. The kids absolutely love it. It allows them to express themselves as individuals and learn to the style that is best for them.”

    With gratitude,

  • A View Into the 3D World!

    Funded Apr 28, 2018

We just wanted to say thank you for the new 3D printer! We are all so excited to start using it. It will be so much fun to use. We can't wait to start creating our designs. Thank you for accepting our teacher's request of trying to raise enough money to purchase the 3D printer. We never used a 3D printer and the fact that we actually have access to it on a daily basis is incredible!! Not only do we get to experience creating our objects on the computer, but we get to see it print right before our eyes. We all get to create things with our imagination and make it a reality. Thank you so much again!! The 7th Grade STEM talent classes and teacher, are very grateful for all that you did, and for all that is yet to come! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zambri

Students will be using a website called tinkercad to help them create 3D designs. We have been learning and studying the program to help us create various objects. I would love to have the students create and object and be able to print it, and watch their object come to life. Being able to see and hold their object brings so much more to a lesson and enriches the learning experience. Help bring a students vision to life! By helping to fund my project for a 3D printer, and the printing supplies you can help make this happen! I would love to see the smiles and feeling of self accomplishment on my students when their objects are brought to life.
