My students attend a small, rural 6-12 middle/high school in central Maine. They are self-directed learners who enjoy following their passions and creating pathways that are personalized and show evidence of their learning. These students are highly inquisitive and have a love of learning. They love to read, research, and dig deeply to find their answers which lead to more questions. Civic-minded, our learners are interested in the world around them and in developing ways to improve their future lives. When engaged in topics that matter to them, these students are willing to put the time in for extra learning.
