As an AIS Math teacher in a Title 1 school, my students struggle to keep up in their regular classrooms. However, when we are together in our small groups, I try to gear the learning to their needs- where they struggle, what their misconceptions are, and what they are really great at!
Without an actual Academic Interventions curriculum, I have to search endless hours for materials that can truly help them be the best mathematicians they can be.
That is why these resource books will help me plan lessons that are geared towards their grade level standards, but still keeps in mind their pace and the guidance they require.
