Show Me The Money
Funded Oct 2, 2010Thank you for the generous gifts. My children were so excited to have been given so many materials to use as they play and learn. I was so thrilled because I knew that the games about money would enhance my children's learning experiences. The big coins have been an excellent hands-on activity for my children. The children learn to work together toward a goal and then they discuss the differences between the different coins on the board. They have been learning through real life experiences as they play the money games.
I loved the big coins because I used it to teach the math lesson. In math we will be learning more about money and the big coins will give my children a visual and hands-on education. .
Each time I present new material to the children, the light in their eyes shine. You have helped bring the "WOW" back into my classroom and it will continue for years to come. Your generous donation has made a tremendous difference in the lives of so many.

This classroom project was brought to life by McGraw-Hill and 2 other donors.Amazing Violinists!
Funded Jul 21, 2010Thank you for the wonderful gift of music! The children are so happy to be able to experience holding and playing the violin. It was a new experience for all of them and they are thankful for being able to learn such a wonderful instrument.
The strings and shoulder rests enabled more children to participate in the violin program. I can't thank you enough for making this possible. The children are working hard and performing at assemblies. Some have even gone outside of school to perform for various organizations.
Thank you again for the strings and shoulder rests. You have made the impossible - possible! ”

Through the Eyes of the Beholder
Funded Sep 8, 2010Thank you from my heart for the generous gifts. My children are so excited to have been given the science materials to use as they play and learn. They love becoming scientists, so I was thrilled to find out that I had been funded because I knew that the science materials would enhance my children's learning experiences. The microscope and slides have been a wonderful hands-on activity for my children. They have become scientists and are learning through a real life experience.
I loved the blank slides. We were learning about leaves and trees so we were able to place specimens of these on the slides and view them in an entirely different way. In science we will be learning about the parts of the plant and the microscope will give my children visual and hands-on enrichment to the learning about plants.
Each time I present a new slide the light in my children's eyes shine. You have helped bring the "WOW" back into my classroom and it will continue for years to come. Your generous donation has made a tremendous difference in the lives of so many. Thank you!”

Funded Jun 7, 2009Thank you from my heart for the generous gifts. My children are so excited to have been given so many materials to use as they play and learn. I was so thrilled to receive the kitchen set, food, cash register and especially the pizza set because I knew that the materials would enhance my children's learning experiences.
Each time I presented new material the light in my children's eyes shined. You have helped bring the "WOW" back into my classroom and it will continue for years to come. Your generous donation has made a tremendous difference in the lives of so many. Without donors like you, many children would go without many materials necessary to aid in their academic success.
