  • A Cozy Spot For Learning

    Funded Dec 13, 2024

Wow, this is absolutely amazing! Thank you for your generosity. I know my students are going to be so excited. I look forward to our continued learning adventures at our brand new rug. We spend so much time together on the floor- this will seriously be such a dream come true!!”

    With gratitude,

  • Creating Inventors- One Project at a Time

    Funded May 27, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation. This 3d printer has provided many learning opportunities to my classroom of third graders and after school students. Each week, students are given an opportunity to create something related to their learning. This allows students an opportunity to work on being creative and building their 21st century skills.

Some of the student favorites include building dragons and small animals. It is not always perfect, sometimes we end up with a failed project, but it is a great lesson in patience and perseverance. Again, thank you for your donation.”

  • Start Your Day With Play!

    Funded May 10, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation. These items have provided many learning opportunities to my classroom of third graders. Each morning, they start their day with play. This allows students an opportunity to work on their socialization skills while simultaneously working on their creativity.

Some of the student favorites include the play dough and bristle blocks. Each day they have a challenge of something to build (usually something related to a story we have read) and they are able to use these tools to bring their learning to life. Again, thank you for your generosity.”

  • Scholastic News Leads to Great Readers

    Funded May 24, 2023

We are so thankful for your donation to our amazing 3rd grade classroom. The students will be beyond thrilled to have access to these Scholastic News magazines throughout the entire academic year. Your donation will allow these students to learn about the world around them while simultaneously improving their reading skills. Thank you again for your generosity.”

  • Creative Hands Lead to Intelligent Minds

    Funded Aug 3, 2022

Your generosity has encouraged moments of learning for my students that will last a lifetime. We have used many of the donated items to create learning opportunities in social studies, math, and writing. So far, our class has completed cartouches and cuneiform tablets using the clay, participated in writing opportunities using the multiple colored papers to color code, and animal cell diagrams using the shrink paper and keychain hardware. We are looking forward to using the remaining supplies for Egyptian masks, canopic jars, and other projects. Again, thank you so much for your donations.”

  • We Need Basic Supplies!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you so much for your amazing generosity and support to my classroom. These supplies have allowed many students the opportunity to demonstrate their learning through several means. The scissors and chart paper have been available for students to create posters or their learning and to display them during presentations and/or around our classroom. The whiteboard erasers and markers have been used during math while students work out their math problems. The other supplies have come in handy for many learning opportunities. Again, thank you for supporting us!”

  • Hear, Hear...Help us Hear!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you so much for supporting my students. These headphones have become an essential piece in our everyday learning. Students use them during intervention rotations, while creating presentation projects, during fluency practice to record and hear themselves read, the list goes on. Many of my students would not have been able to purchase their own set of headphones with a mic, and we were only being supplied 8 or so for a class of 30 students. Your generosity has really helped to create and enhance additional learning opportunities for my students.”

  • Take the Lead... Help Us Read!

    Funded Jan 26, 2018

Thank you so much for your generous donations. My students are absolutely thrilled with the new books that we have received. So far, we have been able to read both Hatchet and Where the Red Fern Grows. My students were absolutely in love with both texts. Many went on to check out and read other books written by the same authors. I love that these class sets of read alouds have encouraged my students to keep reading independently. None of this would have been accomplished without your amazing generosity. Thanks again for helping me bring the love of reading to my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Schnagl

  • Be Nice, Donate Some Mice!

    Funded Nov 8, 2017

Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated. The computer mice have allowed our class to continue using their gifted Chromebooks with ease. They no longer have to struggle with touchpads that do not function properly. The students have been able to create new Google Slides presentations related to class learning, participate in daily math intervention, and take reading comprehension quizzes. Most recently, the students have begun to learn how to code basic programming. These activities would be very difficult, if not impossible, without the computer mice.”

    With gratitude,

  • Bring the American Revolution Alive!

    Funded Dec 6, 2016

Our Ancient Artifacts presentation went amazingly well. The students were so engrossed and walked away from the presentation with an increased appreciation and excitement about the American Revolution. The presenter was incredibly knowledgeable and engaged every last student.

The students unanimously agree that their favorite part of the presentation was being able to handle pieces of history: canons, tomahawk, bayonet, coins, soldier buttons, and a gun powder horn. The presenter also displayed a non-functioning musket for students. The students also enjoyed the historical stories that he shared, including one about a woman who single handedly captured male soldiers who had taken over her home.

The students are eager to continue through out American Revolution unit. Many of the students have expressed that the presentation has inspired their continue knowledge about the time period. Several have even checked out related books from the library and/or visited websites to expand their knowledge.”
