I work with students across the spectrum of special needs. Some of my students have visual or auditory processing delays. Some are learning disabled while others are dealing with emotional issues. Working with such a diverse group of learners gives me the challenge of reaching each of them individually, using varied methods and learning styles. In the best of all possible worlds, all learning styles should be incorporated into all lessons, all the time, however, limited resources and even more limited funding make that challenging. Lack of the simplest materials, are set backs that I am dealing with everyday.
