These seating options will support my students need for sensory stimulation while they are learning. Young students need movement for their brains to be in a good space to retain what they are learning. A key component of learning is creating an atmosphere where the students want to be at school. By creating a classroom that allows students to choose where they are most comfortable it will enhance their motivation to learn. While writing, reading or doing math centers students will have the opportunity to choose a seating option that fits their needs. This will also help students learn how to make good choices that fit their bodies needs at a young age.
