Supplies to Empower Future Leaders!
Funded Sep 19, 2024Your generous donation has helped 4th and 5th-grade mathematicians be fully prepared for this school year. Crayons and markers are used for projects. Dry-erase boards let us work out our math problems and equations. The materials given to students were of great help to parents who were not able to afford new supplies this school year. Students were very excited to receive all their materials inside their desks.
These supplies also help the students stay organized. Folders are color-coded based on the subject, pencil cases help keep their pencils, erasers, and sharpeners in one place, and they have enough notebooks to keep their notes in for each subject. Our math toolkits keep our anchor charts organized with sheet protectors for easy access to visuals on the skill we are learning. Math warm-up folders help us practice our basic facts and drills. It is essential that students, especially English Language Learners, be able to visually see the different ways that a problem can be solved and the steps they need to take.”

Funded Nov 29, 2022We are loving our new materials that help with our English language acquisition! Thanks to your generosity, students now have access to the resources they need to succeed academically and beyond.
The materials that you helped us provide, such as books, language-learning games, visual dictionaries, and other resources, have already made a tremendous impact on our multilingual learners. These students are now more confident and engaged in their learning, and they are making significant progress in their language development.
The picture dictionaries have made our writing stronger by providing us with rich visuals that have helped us write stronger sentences. The magnetic storyboard has helped us write longer sentences by adding verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. The vocabulary practice cards have made our vocabulary game stronger!
We are truly grateful for your support, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact that it will have on our students for years to come. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our students!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Núñez
