iPads as Seeds for STEM Growth

The feeling you get when you see students excited about learning is indescribable! When the iPads arrived, they were giddy and ready to put them to use right away. They love to use them to listen to books during Language Arts. A headphone splitter has helped have up to five students per iPad so they are able to listen to any story they find!
My students have been able to work together to choose a book to listen to, and it has helped even my most reluctant readers find the joy in reading. Not only have they been loving the new way to read, they have even become more tech savvy as the weeks have progressed.
The students will soon be able to use our iPads to work on STEM projects. They are going to be able to code and work through a variety of projects and creations during STEM. Thank you again for helping provide new and exciting opportunities for my students!”

My students welcome a challenge! They thrive most when they are learning new things, and are always up for persevering through the challenge. STEM projects keep my students engaged in learning science, technology, engineering and math. iPads will help my students develop their problem solving skills in these areas. These iPads will give my students the opportunity to engage with technology, as well as prepare them for their future career path. The iPads will open my students' eyes to new ways of learning, and ignite their creativity. These opportunities are imperative in preparing my students for the careers of the future.
