• Make Reading Time Sweet With "The Sour Grape"!

  My students absolutely love this book! We read this book through our "March Madness - picture book edition" and this was the big winner. Every year, I gift my students something before they leave my classroom for the summer, and this was this year's gift to them. A book to read over and over, but also a book that holds memories of our great year together.

  So, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for allowing us to cherish our classroom memories through our love of reading with "The Sour Grape".”

• Lend an "Ear" to Learning!

  These donations have made such a great impact in our classroom! My students are able to listen to educational videos, complete their own directed drawings, and stay focused with their headphones. They are able to play math games with their peers to practice their math skills!

  My students were so excited to receive their donations, and they have not stopped reaching for these games. "Proof!", in particular, has been a crowd favorite, and students have had to create a schedule on when they can play because there are so many who are eager!

• Quality Resources for "Koala-ty" Students

  We are BIG on positive incentives in my class! My students get to use their hard earned tickets at our student store or in our weekly, and once a month, a super star student gets recognized for all their hard work. These keychains and coloring books are a big part of this! Since koalas are our school mascot, having a that as part of the reward is a great incentive for my students,

  In addition, the erasers and marker holder have made our classroom run so much more smoothly. Each student can take care of their own whiteboard and our class board is easier to write on.”

• The "Write" Tools

  With a class of over 30 students, that's a lot of birthdays! With your help, I have been able to acknowledge each of my students' birthdays with a special gift. The birthday pencils are some of their most prized possessions!

  In addition, having pre-sharpened pencils has made being ready to learn SO much easier! My students are able to just walk up to the materials, grab what they need, and are able to continue. Being able to do this creates such smooth transitions, there are no issues that arise.

• Graphic Novels to the Rescue!

  My students and I are so lucky to have such a diverse library, all thanks to you. There are times when my students have 3 books on their desks at a time, because they couldn't pick just one to read!

  I love having a library that reaches all the different interests of my students, and these books help make that happen. From complex science topics to funny graphic novels, you have helped my students of all interests have whatever they would like right at their finger tips.

• We're All Ears!

  Technology is being used constantly in our classroom, and my students love when they get to take ownership of any bit of it. This project helped me get some much needed supplies to help with that-ear buds. These earbuds have been a major help!

  The students are able to watch learning videos, they're able to listen to stories being read to them, they're able to even listen to questions on tests being read aloud! The best thing, is that these earbuds are theirs to keep. They get to take them home, and bring them back to school and continue to use them.

• RAP with Flocabulary!

  Flocabulary is so much fun! My students get so excited when they see we are going to watch a Flocabulary video with our lesson. Not only are they learning, but they are having fun. They start to dance in their seats and sing along with the lyrics that are on the screen.

  One of my favorite parts is seeing them search through Flocabulary on their own! During this time, they search for the videos that we saw together, or even search for ones to introduce them to a new topic. I love that this resource is something that they are able to explore on their own, and that they have fun with. Thank you so much for your generosity in getting this for my kids!”

• Playing Our Way to Stronger Peer Relationships

  This has been one of our favorite projects yet! All these materials have been used to help build stronger relationships with our students. Students have been able to earn time with these games based on classroom behavior, and they wear the biggest smiles when they are playing these! We are also looking forward to bringing in our "Students of the Month" for an extra play time in our "Dean's Den" with these fun resources.

  Teachers Pay Teachers is one of my favorite resources to utilize in the classroom. There is such a variety of resources that I can purchase to use in our room, while supporting the teachers who created them.

• Can't Mask Our New School Year Excitement!

  Being back in the classroom has been a whirlwind! My students are as eager as ever to learn, collaborate, and participate in our discussions. With a full year of distance learning, there are definitely some skills they have picked up on.

  They are so well-versed with technology! The earbuds that were donated from you have been a huge help with this. They are able to watch videos to research, and earn a chance to listen to music while they are working on assignments.

  And as simple as they may seem, mechanical pencils are their favorite! They are able to get these at our student store, the treasure box, or for passing our multiplication program, and they are the most sought after prize!
