  • Little Bites for Little Minds and Equity

    Funded Jan 22, 2021

When I brought in these snacks my scholars were so excited. They got to have the different options for snack time. We used our "voting" to choose the snack we wanted to try first. That day they even got to pick something else (pringles) to take home. I never want any child to be hungry and you really understood that. I wanted to convey the sense of urgency we had for some fun snacks and some healthy snacks. After they have had their snack they are more alert and ready to take on the next task. Seeing their eyes light up during snack times , has given me such joy.”

  • Coloring My Way Through Kindergarten

    Funded Feb 2, 2021

This year has begun to play a huge role in my classroom. I find that when they are able to draw with Kwik stix it calms them down, they're engaged, they're expressing themself more freely, they look forward to that time. The good thing about Kwik stix are the size of them, the ease, and how neat they come out on paper. Since getting their new art supplies , their motivation has skyrocket. Thank you for making this project dream a reality in my classroom. I hope you enjoy the pictures and can really see the engagement.”

  • Soaring into Reading

    Funded Jan 19, 2021

I absolutely love to read and I love to instill that same love in all my students. There is nothing better than coming to school and being able to see how their reading is taking off. This pandemic has taught us how much perseverance and resilience our students really have. Their faces are priceless when they are able to see new supplies in our classroom. As our students begin to learn how to read, these sight word readers are vital to our classroom! They were so excited today as they got their books from the ziplock bags and began to practice they skills they been learning to become better readers . Thank you for all of your support."”

  • Sneeze Guard and Stay Afar

    Funded Dec 9, 2020

Your generous donation has enable us to all the kids to sit it groups while being socially distant. We are now able to separate the kids with the sneeze guards. As more students come in for their group we move the sneeze guards to suit their needs. Each day we wipe them down for safety reasons. These sneeze guards allow students to sit six feet apart but still be able to talk and enjoy their time together. Thanks to the sneeze guards I'm also able to meet with my students one on one while still keep them and myself self. Thank you for funding this expensive project for only five items but it's saving lives and keeping us all safe.”

  • Hocus Pocus Its Time to Focus

    Funded Aug 31, 2020

The excitement that my kids have with their new materials is truly worth it. Thanks to your selfless contributions, my students never have to worry about having what they need to continue they're learning. This project was designed to work both in classroom and virtually to ensure that the students would be allowed opportunities to connect with the content. The TPT gift card allow me to set up my own bitmoji classroom so that student feel their classroom environment even on their remote days.Usually we work with communal supplies and this year we had to alter that for safety purposes. Thanks to your donations my student will have everything individualize, while having a learning environment that is enjoyable.”

  • At Home In The School Zone

    Funded May 28, 2020

Our children endure much trauma and these resources help give them some normalcy. We love for our classrooms to be fun, inviting, and as much of an "at-home" feel as possible. Due to Covid this was cut short.Although these supplies seem simple, they are such an amazing help. When the kids saw these new supplies they were so excited and said, Are these for us? We already used the crayons and colored pencils to complete their work at home.

We have been using the lapboards during our meets and it made such a different in the way we carried out our activity. We used them in school but now the students use them at home. For those reasons, I was unable to provide pictures.

I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and generosity in helping me to reach this goal. The excitement that my kids have with their new materials is truly worth it. Thanks to your selfless contributions. My students never have to worry about having what they need to continue they're learning from home.”

My kids and I have been transitioning to an online learning mode during this unforeseen crisis. My babies are resilient and have been gaining momentum with online learning. These tools will help them have a classroom away from their traditional classroom and set them up for readiness and success while they take part in activities via google meetups! I am so excited to be able to help my babies with this. I have created meeting activities that are attainable by all so I usually just ask them to have paper and pencil. Sometimes we do fun activities like virtual field trips, like last week we visited the San Diego Zoo and watched the penguins. We drew penguins afterwards and that is sometimes where we can have difficulty because not all students have coloring tools. This project will allow the students to have everything they need to be successful and create unique work all their own!
