This classroom rug will help reinforce a sense of community in my classroom. My classroom contains a variety of flexible seating options which can sometimes make it hard to keep a sense of community in the classroom unless there is a place for all the students to gather together. I plan to use this rug as a common meeting place for my students to come together to learn and share their ideas. Feeling a sense of community in the classroom makes learning easier and more comfortable for students. I hope with this classroom rug I can make my students feel a sense of belonging in the classroom.
