  • Help My 4th Grade Class Start with a Clean Slate!

    Thank you for support. With your generous contributions, our classroom is complete. The children are excited and eager to refer to the white board on a daily basis.

    It is a great tool for them when having to refresh on information they may have missed.

    They also use it as a slate to model current work. Or a place to show their classmates what they know.

    The children feel comfortable walking up to the board whenever they need that review on strategies or to present within the any subject area.”

    I would like to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for caring about my students. My students and I are very grateful for your contribution and support. We now have the tools which assist students in their learning process. My students enjoy coming up to the new dry erase board to display their work or show the steps they took in solving a particular problem. They were very impressed that the board was dry erase and magnetic at the same time. They also enjoyed the feature of colorful dry erase markers that were included in the package.     My project has been funded, and my students and I are all tremendously excited! With your support, we will be able to turn my class into a more engaging place, where the students will be able to learn in different ways, both as individuals and as groups, instead of just learning from a simple teacher demonstration. By donating to my project, you will not only help to improve and increase students' motivation and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. The kidney table will bring the children together while working on a group task with teacher support near by. The width of the table makes it better for demonstrating a lesson or even just showing a book. There is room to lay it out in front of the teacher while still giving the students room for their materials. In addition, the table allows myself to sit across from my students and better conduct a hands on lesson. The Kidney Table is a great tool when it comes to small group instruction; it is potentially powerful tool for differentiation. The document camera is an effective way to motivate children to present their work on the spot. It allows me to take what used to be individual assignments and turn them into class assignments, creating more discussion, interaction, and maintaining students' attention.
