Respectful Space for Beautiful Paints

Thank you so much for your generous donation of a drying rack for our classroom. We use this drying rack with our painting easels. The children are now able to independently hang paper, paint, and place their paintings on the drying rack to dry. Your donation of a drying rack has allowed my students to be independent in this painting process, which has allowed them to take ownership over their work. They use greater care in their paintings, and they are quite proud of their work, even the work of taking the paper off of the easel and placing in on the drying rack!

When the students first saw our new drying rack, they were excited! We haven't had an effective place for them to dry their paintings before, and now they do! They are so happy to have this easel, and they want to thank you for giving it to them!

We will continue to use this drying rack with our paintings. As the children continue to grow in their experience with painting--which is only possible because of your generous donation--the more skilled they will become with not only their fine-motor and artistic skills, but also their skills in problem solving and symbolism.
