Navigate Car Rider Line
Funded Nov 29, 2023The iPad we were granted has greatly helped all of McBrayer Elementary. We have utilized it in our car rider line to collect car rider numbers and allow which has allowed for a more smooth and safe process. Staff members are able to utilize the iPad instead of their phones which allows for a larger screen, less damage to personal devices, and an easier to use system if there are staff absences.
When not used for car rider line, the iPad has been used by a student with physical needs who needed access to a different device. This iPad has granted her the ability to utilize technology at the same level as her peers.”

Funded Aug 22, 2019Wow! Thank you all so much! My students will now have a safe place to learn coping skills! Without proper self-regulation, my students will struggle in all areas of life. My classroom is forever grateful to your kindness and generosity! We can’t wait to use these new resources. Thank you!”

According to My Calculation, We Needs You!
Funded Mar 27, 2018The calculators you provided for our school have already made such a difference. Since the day they arrived, the 5th and 6th grade students have been so grateful for the calculators. Because of donors like you, we now have the ability to provide equal access to calculators to all students. With the state-assessment just weeks away, our students now feel prepared and confident that they will be able to be successful. Without these calculators, some of our students would have had to use a different calculator that did not provide the same functions. Thank you so much for your generosity and thoughtfulness that provided our current and future students equity in their education.”

Funded Mar 6, 2018The materials you funded for my classroom have made such a difference since the day they were delivered. My students were ecstatic to see all of the different seating options they had- it was like Christmas morning. Currently, I have all the materials in a designated space in the room and my students walk in, pick which seating option they prefer, and it's theirs for the day.
So far, these materials have provided such a positive and comfortable environment for my students. I see myself continuing this journey of flexible seating in hopes of eventually having enough flexible seating options to replace all of my traditional seating. Thank you so much for your love and support of my students!”

Tables Fit for a Pirate!
Funded Sep 12, 2017I can't express enough how much these tables have changed the dynamics in my classroom. I have students that, before, would be unmotivated to do their work. Now, if I allow them to write on the tables for the assignment, their eyes light up and they are completely engaged in their work. I knew these tables would be awesome, but I had no idea how much they would change for my students. My students literally brag to other kids that I have tables that they can write on. This project has opened a whole new world of learning for my students to feel excited and comfortable with their work. Thank you so much for your generous and kind hearts. You have changed the world for these kids and we are forever grateful.”

Pirates for Personalized Learning
Funded Jul 27, 2017The impact of technology for students is something you won't believe until you see. I have students that were so afraid to answer questions in class before because they were so terrified of being wrong. Allowing them a different outlet allows them to open up to be the student they were designed to be. Most of my students have Learning Disabilities in Reading. Some still struggle reading Kindergarten level text. With these Chromebooks I am able to use programs that will read to them, instead of me having to read the assignment to them. My students have gained more independence and feel more comfortable in the learning environment. I can't express how thankful I am to have been given this opportunity to provide for my students in a way that I wouldn't have been able to without your kind heart.”
