Pete the Cat for Remote Learning
Funded May 11, 2020What can I say about Pete the Cat? If you know any children from ages 3 through 7, they will all know and love Pete. He is such a great character and offers a fun way through learning. The children absolutely love Pete the Cat, and the stories lend to so many activities that can be differentiated no matter the level of the student. Pete the Cat in many instances helped to make the students more interested and engaged in the remote activities. My students are now in-person, so we are able to have a more hands-on approach with the materials which is amazing as well! Thank you for your generosity for this amazing resource that will be utilized for years to come! My students as well as myself thank you from the bottom of our hearts! You are amazing!”

Distance Learning for Math and Social Emotional Learning
Funded May 29, 2020Thank you so much for stepping up to the plate when our students needed it most The switch to remote learning was challenging to say the least! However, with the help of YOU, we were able to get some awesome materials to utilize. We used these materials during Goggle Meets and practiced counting. We had fun reading stories together. I am fortunate that we were able to go to "in-person" learning and be more hands on with the materials as well. Many of the math items have been a big hit with the students and they are doing a wonderful job at counting as well as number recognition. All of these items are amazing to have for each of my incredible students. We will continue to utilize these materials for years to come, no matter if we are engaging with in-person learning or even remote! Thank you for your help!”

Funded May 5, 2020It has been difficult to utilize these materials in creative ways for the students. However, I am please to say, that we are doing just this and the children could not love it more! There is not a day that goes by in the classroom that this item has not been utilized. We utilize Magna-Tiles as well as other translucent materials and the children are drawn to i! They love putting letters and numbers the light table. They are labeling letters and numbers! It is so wonderful to see. The size is also perfect and it is very durable so I know it will be loved for years and years to come! I am so thankful to have this in my classroom and am excited to see and research more activities I can do with this amazing gift! Thank you so much!

Funded Mar 1, 2020I must say, what a strange way to end the school year. Unfortunately, we did not have this item for long before our school was shut down. I can say, THE KIDS LOVED IT! Even if it was just for a short amount of time, I know that this item found its home in my classroom! I saw kids enjoying the Magnatiles and using them in creative ways. We had fun building castles for the dinosaurs and worked on sharing. Another student build a "cell phone" so we could call grandma. I can't wait to get back in and use this. I do plan on utilizing this resource for summer school! Can't wait ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for your support!”

Creative and Engaging Sensory Art Experience for Preschool Learners
Funded Oct 25, 2019Before the world seemed to turn upside down on us all, we were fortunate enough to have received these materials! My students really enjoy doing art projects daily. I love being able to provide my students materials that have different textures, colors, as well as a variety of medias. Art is a great way to show your creative side, and being able to do this is something that I believe is important for all children. We have so much fun using the paints and the bingo daubers are an absolute favorite! Thank you so much for giving my students this experience. I can't wait to get back in the classroom so that I may use these amazing items with them.”

Funded Oct 11, 2019What an amazing project to have funded! I appreciate your generosity and I know that my students will for years to come. The math counters have been a lot of fun. We can do many activities with them including showing off our sorting, matching and counting skills. The sand table is a big hit. It is a preferred activity in my classroom, and the students look forward to playing with it. Almost every one of my students enjoys puzzles. These puzzles have been a great addition to our classroom. Thank you so much for making coming to school that much more fun by adding in these great resources. You are appreciated so much!”
