My students range from the ages of 14-20 and are all labeled "At Risk". Each student has his/her own story and most bring tears to your eyes. Many of them are parents, work part-time or full time, some even have spouses, and a few support themselves having little to no contact with their families. Our public school is a safe heaven for these young adults, providing a safe and stable environment.
