  • Seat Sacks for Sufficient Organization

    We are so thankful for your generosity. The day we received our seat sacks, we immediately opened them and placed them on the back of our chairs. Since then, each and everyday has been a smoother transition between subjects now that we know where our materials are. We no longer have to move around the classroom from one area to another and one bin to another to take materials out and put them away. This has given us back valuable learning time that we were losing. It has also made unpacking in the morning and packing up at the end of the day much easier. We can take our backpacks and easily transfer our workbooks that we need at home and at school without a fuss. Thank you for contributing to the organization and time management of our class.”

  • iPads for Individualized Instruction

    My students and I cannot thank you enough for your generosity. We have had a blast using these I-Pads daily during our reading and math centers. Students are always looking forward to their next chance to interact with them.

    During reading, students use the I-Pads to login to an app known as Raz-Kids where they can read and listen to books that are appropriate for their reading level. They are also being used for students to build their knowledge and fluency of sight words. In math, students interact with games pertaining to numbers, addition, subtraction, and much more.

    Having these I-Pads as part of our daily instruction has not only made learning fun, but has allowed my students to access material that meets their specific needs. I look forward to providing my current and future students with these I-Pads for years to come.”

And believe it or not, technology can be the perfect tool for addressing each of these senses and providing students with hands on learning experiences. The students in my classroom would be provided access to these iPads on a daily basis during literacy centers, math centers, and choice time. They will have the opportunity to learn their letters, numbers, and much more through engaging games and activities that will make them want to continue their learning. The use of these iPads will also allow my students to receive instruction that is tailored toward their individual needs, thus enriching their learning and boosting achievement.
