As a teacher - and my first year in second grade at my school - I am working to build a large classroom library with "just right" books for my students, along with supplies that can help my students be engaged in what we are currently learning. We need books in our classroom containing a wide variety of reading levels with different interests, including multi-cultural books and books that help my students to grasp real world challenges and solutions they face every day. We also need materials to help us learn our sight words, explore through experimentation, and use hands-on materials to make abstract concepts more concrete for them. Your donations will help not only improve my student's reading levels, but also help them to develop a LOVE of reading and learning! These materials will be the perfect addition to my classroom! :)
