  • Laptop Touchscreen Excitement

    I really appreciate the funding of my laptop with touch screen capability. My students are really going to enjoy playing phonics games it. This technology will be an exciting center students can play on. If I get the laptop by November then I should have it up and running within a week!”

  • Cool Reading Seating

    Funded Feb 8, 2022

    My students and I were so excited to get the new reading seating. My students wanted to go set on the new couch and recliner right when they came in. I made them read their books then let them go read independently on the seating.

    My students were reading and looked comfortable. One student even said this is like being at home. That's how I want them to feel in my classroom. I want them to feel safe and comfortable so they can learn to their maximum potential.

    In conclusion, the seating has enhanced the look and feel of my classroom.”

This couch and foot stool will make a comfortable environment for the students to read on. When we separate to read in groups, then the independent readers can set on the couch to read. When students have a welcoming and homey looking classroom then they are more relaxed and ready to learn. I already have one child sized recliner. This couch and foot stool will go perfect with that. The child size couch and foot stool will make a great addition to the second grade reading lab classroom. Kids love furniture that is just their size.
