Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and generosity by making this donation toward my project! I cannot begin to express how thankful I am that you have chosen to support my classroom this new school year. I appreciate your effort towards helping me offer the most effective resources for my students. Thank you!”

  • Let's Dissect- Having the Total Biological Experience!

    Funded Aug 9, 2022

Thank you so much for your kind and generous consideration for myself and my students. With your donations- I was able to provide frogs for my Biology and owl pellets for my Biology and Environmental Science Students. This was an amazing opportunity for my students to have a real-life hands on experience that the would not have been able to experience without your help. Being able to "do" science has such a positive impact on our students and it is an experience that they can share with their friends, family, and maybe even their own children one day. Your kindness and support means a great deal- thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. CL Austin

  • Back to Science!

    Funded Jul 21, 2023

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation to our classroom lab project through Donor's Choose. Your support has made a significant impact on my student's learning outcome by providing hands on supplies and suspports, and I am truly thankful for your contribution.

Your donation will enable us to create engaging learning opportunities- like graphing, measureing, and conducting experiments in our lab, providing our students with valuable hands-on experiences. These resources are instrumental in enhancing our students' education and fostering their interest in science and technology.

Your belief in my vision to make every student a scientist inspires me to strive for excellence and ensures that our students have access to the best educational resources. Your generosity not only benefits our current students but will continue to have a positive impact on young scientists to come.

Once again, thank you for your generous contribution and your belief in the power of education. Your kindness and support mean the world to us, and we are immensely grateful for your partnership in this educational journey.”

  • Lab Time

    Funded Jun 10, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous contributions toward fully funding my project. My students throughly enjoyed dissecting the owl pellets in class-at 1st the were a little "grossed out", but soon became intrigued by the whole process of rearticulating the bones and naming their newly discovered "critter".

We are using a new curriculum this semester with much more emphasis on investigation and hands-on, student centered activities. Being able to have the needed lab supplies have greatly helped me reach that goal. Owl pellet dissection are a once in a life time experience for thes students as well as a comsummable product that I need to replenish each semester. Thank you so much for providing this opportunity to enrich my students.”

This is awesome! Thank you all who donated to my project- this has been a challenging year and this is just the encouragement and support that I need right now. • Help a Teacher Out!

    Funded May 3, 2021

Thank you so much for your generosity in helping me provide materials for my students! This year ( past 2 years) has been challenging- I have had to become even more flexible in how I need to adapt my lessons and assistive materials to accommodate the needs of my students. The Teachers-Pay-Teachers gift card was such a blessing in providing me with materials I needed for my classes-many of which were already digital ready so that I could provide assignment in person, online, and hybrid.

Last semester, I was called upon to teach Chemistry in addition to Biology and Environmental Science- I did not have any materials for Chemistry and it was a godsend to be able to access quality, meaningful materials that were already formatted for my Chemistry students.

Thank you so much for your support.”

  • Teacher Tech

    Funded Dec 8, 2020

Words cannot express how excited I was to receive your gift of technology- this year since the onset of COVID -19 ,has been challenging and we have had to make a lot of adjustments in order to better support my students. The items that I received from your generous donation purchased a document camera and a wire-less mouse that I am able to use in my at-home "classroom".

My objective for making this request was that I wanted to be prepared to have an "identical" classroom set up at home. I have been able to take advantage of this numerous times over the past few months. This has been very convenient because I don't have to lug supplies and materials from one place to the other.

My students have benefitted from this gift as well because I am able to work out and model problems, draw graphs, and explain concepts to them in real time on paper- this really helps the visual learners.

Having access to these tools have helped me be a more efficient and innovative teacher during this unprecedented time. Thank you so much for you believing in and supporting me!”

Wow! Thank you so much for your generous donation- I genuinely appreciate this gift. This school year has been like no other and not only will it help lighten my workload and provide my students with relevant and appropriate materials, it will also support the hard working teachers that produce these helpful materials. Your act of kindness has really blessed my teacher spirit today! Thanks so much!!”

We currently do not have any glassware disposal boxes-this poses an issue with the proper disposal of glass waste. We also have outdated weigh scales that are close to impossible to accurately calibrate. This request is for the entire Science Department at our school of about 650+ students. I am requesting a glass waste disposal box for each classroom (5) and a triple beam balance (3) to be shared between the 2 Biology Teachers, 2 Earth Science Teachers, and the Chemistry Teacher. We do not have the funds in our school to purchase these items- we want out students to have the up to date equipment in order to properly prepare them for STEM exploration.
