• Color Our Classroom

  Thank you so much for your generosity in providing our class with new crayons and a pencil sharpener! When the students first saw the materials, their excitement was contagious. They were eager to dive in and use the supplies right away. To ensure the longevity of these items, we first reviewed rules and proper care techniques, emphasizing the importance of respecting shared resources.

  Once that was done, they wasted no time getting started on a meaningful project. Using the vibrant new crayons, my students began creating kindness letters for their classmates. These letters were filled with thoughtful messages, cheerful drawings, and bright colors that truly reflected their personalities. It was heartwarming to see how much pride they took in their work and how excited they were to spread kindness within our classroom.

  Moving forward, we plan to use these supplies in future projects that foster creativity and connection, including holiday cards and posters for upcoming school events. Thanks to your support, our classroom is not only better equipped but also filled with smiles and kindness.”

• Color Our Class

  Thank you so much for the donations to my project. My students were beyond thrilled to be given these amazing materials. They're super excited to get to use the paints, glue, glue sticks, markers and more to learn and use their creative skills. When I was unboxing the gifts, students were ewwing and ahhing with excitement. Today students were able to use the Expo Markers to compare and order fractions on their desks, how much fun to write our on desks with markers! I hope to have the time to use the paint pots by Friday, to paint pictures of our book reviews. THANK you again for the amazing donation to our project!”

• Mini Inspirational Journals to Promote Vocabulary Understanding

  Thank you so much for your generous donation to our project for mini journals and pocket charts. My students love the sweet little journals and getting to write new vocabulary words in them. We have used them for math vocabulary words, language arts and reading. Students love getting to go back in their journals to refresh their minds on what various words mean. Having their mini journals allows them to keep these important words with them at all times. THANK you so much for your donations to students like mine!”

• Lysol, Markers, and Crayons, Oh My!

  I cannot explain how excited my students and I get when we are gifted with a donors choose project. Having things like crayons and markers in my room for them to use to complete activities is so much more fun than boring pencils. Lysol wipes have also come in very handy this year with trying to keep the germs down during this crucial pandemic. We are so grateful for the kind donors like you who are willing to give to teachers and classrooms across the states to help benefit our students. THANK you!”

• Quality Resources for Amazing Students

  Thank you so much for showing your amazing generosity by giving to my project Quality Resources for Amazing Students. Throughout this year there have been many ups and downs but with the help of donorschoose and donors like yourself I have been able to help many of my students. I have been able to help students get resources they needed to be successful even while learning from home.

  Headphones for virtual learning at home were given to many students so they are able to hear our zooms even while in a room with other siblings and family members. Folders were sent home with page protectors to allow students to have a nice place to put their resource papers. Pencils and erasers were also sent home for those who needed them. The impact these resources have made has already been grand. THANK you!!”

• Basic Needs for the Not So Basic Classroom

  First of all I want to give a huge shower out to donors like you. Because of your generosity, I will be able to provide my students with essential materials such as folders, labels, pencil pouches, pencils, and even sharpeners for students at home. These materials will allow even students at home to keep up with important materials that are necessary for completing school work. We will use the pouches to help keep sharing small materials to a minimum. Each student will have their own bag for their crayons, pencils and glue sticks. Thank you!! During this crazy time, it's things like this that will help us continue teaching as close to normal as possible.”

• Headphones for School and Home

  Funded Sep 21, 2020

  Thank you so much for your generous donations to my Headphones for School and Home project. Because of your generosity I will be able to give each of my students a pair of headphones to use during our virtual learning time. Students will also be gifted a pair of headphones to keep here at school once they start coming in person. I am so delighted to be able to gift these to my kiddos. THANK you. Many of my students live in households with siblings, grandparents, and others. Headphones allow them to listen and not be so distracted with other things going on around them both at home and at school. Thank you.”

• Basic Supplies for a Not so Basic Classroom

  It's hard to find the words to say to show how grateful I am to donors like you. The money you have donated to my projected allowed me to get useful materials for my classroom that will be used by both myself and my students...at some point when we come back to school they will be utilized even more. Because of this project, I was able to make bags of supplies to give to my students to use at home thanks to the not so basic necessities being funded. I shared with students notebooks, post it notes, pencils and more. Thank you so much!”

• Book Bins for the WIN!

  Thank you so much for your amazing donation(s) to my book bin project. Wow! Little did I know how much these book bins would help me out this coming year. With Covid all things have changed, including the ability to have shared materials. Due to this, I plan to use these book bins as a way to store student materials such as glue, scissors, and pencils, along with their books. Having these storage units will help me better organize student materials so they can feel less chaos in their desks by having it in book bins. THANK you!”
