  • The Math is Math-ing

    Thank you immensely for your kindness and generosity. The math games that we had in the classroom were in rough shape. They were missing pieces and the writing on them had begun fading away.

    Thanks to you we now have full, fresh, and vibrant games and manipulatives for the students to learn, play with and explore. The students were so excited to open the packages we received. Not only did the students' math skills improve but so did their hand-eye coordination and they were able to problem solve to work and play fairly.”

  • Beginning With the Basics

    My students were so excited to receive mail abs best of all it arrived in waves bringing multiple moments of inquiry, prediction and excitement.

    The students have a newfound interest in writing with pride. The easel paper arrived just as the last stack of papers were soiled with apple juice.

    This unit we are learning about the seasons and the students enjoy drawing and writing about what we'd learned.

    The organization shelf has been a Godsend. It allows the students to be more independent to guide there own learning. Y students and I can't thank you enough for your generosity. Thanks for investing in our future.”

  • Our Literacy Lessons Are Lit!

    Thank you so much for supporting the little learners at Woodson Leadership Academy! The students enjoyed the printable books and activities that were purchased with the funds. We were able to buy teacher-created activities, stories, coloring sheets, and books. You will be happy to learn that we now have 5-7 readers in our Pre-K class.     Thank you immensely for your gracious donations. Your generosity has allowed us to purchase and print activities, flashcards, puzzles, homework, task cards, and crafts to make the lessons more engaging for my students and team members. My little learners benefit most from repetitive practice, the items that were purchased are being used to solidify the learning objectives to help our scholars learn and grow daily. My students enjoy practicing the letters and numbers on their own using the flashcards purchased.

  • Let's Usher Our Kids Into an Amazing School Year.

    Thank you so much for your generosity and support. My little scholars were very excited when the office clerk delivered our small box of playdough.

    We have used it in workstations to create our names, and in the math lesson when learning about patterns. Our most enjoyable use is during our writing warm-up when we dance with it to strengthen our muscles and build our fine motor skills.

    When the second box arrived a month later the students were elated to see it. Many students wondered excitedly what was inside. As I opened the boxes the students were so happy to see all the items and could not wait to play with them.

    One student cried when he learned that he could not take the box home.

    We are immensely grateful for your contribution to our class. We will enjoy these materials for the rest of the year and hopefully years to come.”
