I offer my students other means options for seating (i.e. bouncy ball, on the floor, or standing up). They need opportunities to move around, get their wiggles out, stretch out their frustrations or just take a break from demanding academic task. I tap my foot continuously as I sit with my students, how can they be expected to stay still in a hair chair without bouncing every 5 minutes? Ten wobbly stools will give my students to "wiggle" without having to move around the classroom thus making time on task last longer. The three body socks will give my students the sensory pressure they are seeking as they stretch and stretch on their breaks. They absolutely love the one we have but it's very difficult to share with 11 students. I want to give the best experience of school and set them up for success.
