Much Needed Technology Update
Funded May 8, 2024The need for technology in the classroom these days is imperative. The donation of the projector and mount will help my classroom be more efficient. I can deliver lessons more effectively and this allows for better transitions during class.
The students love the videos and references that I share with them through the projection screen. With the new projector I can move around more and teach from any spot in the room. Previously I was strapped to the desk behind my smart whiteboard. No I have the ability to use a cart and move it around the room.
The students and I thank you for your generosity and will enjoy this equipment for many years to come. Thanks again and I hope to see all of your names on future projects that
we may have.”

Funded Dec 26, 2023I was so pleased to have these items added to my class supplies last year. Since then we have used these items in many ways in my PE class. The items that were donated allow me to help develop my students develop skills in many ways.
One of the items that we received were new hula hoops. These hula hoops are amazing for helping the students learn balance. I also use them in several instant activity games that we play. One game we play is hula hoop tag. This game is a great tag game that gets the students active and allows them to get their energy out.
The other item that has been great is the JBL speaker that I use to initiate start and stop of games. I also use it as a sound bar for my smart whiteboard. Before all we had were the speakers that came with Smart Whiteboard.
Besides the fun that they have, the students are learning way more valuable life skills. They are learning to share, be part of a team, and learning how to resolve disputes. The impact of your generous donation will be felt for years to come."”

Making The '23-'24 Season Great For PE
Funded Jul 27, 2023I was so pleased to have these items added to my class supplies last year. Since then we have used these items in many ways in my PE class. The items that were donated allow me to help develop my students develop skills in many ways.
One of the items that we received were new scarves. These scarves are amazing for helping the students learn to toss and catch. I have several videos that I use, where the students follow along and develop these skills. The little guy in my pictures is a PRE K student. He was having a blast playing with the scarves.
Another item that I use with the older kids are the 6 inch foam balls. These balls are perfect for teaching my students how to throw and catch. I start by demonstrating the skills, then we play a game of pin knock over. The objective is for one of the two teams to completely knock over the other teams pins. The pins are set up on each end of the play area with a middle line to mark the boundaries. They can throw overhand or underhand to try and knock the pins over. This is one of their favorite games. With your donation, I have been able to provide a much more exciting game experience.
