Wild Cat Pawsitive Choices Store
Funded Jul 26, 2024We are deeply grateful for your generous donations towards establishing our school store. Your support is not just a contribution to a facility; it’s an investment in the values of good citizenship and academic excellence.
Your kindness shines as a beacon of hope in a community where socioeconomic challenges often overshadow educational opportunities. The school store will be a tangible reminder to our students that their community believes in them, that their choices matter, and that their efforts are recognized and rewarded.
This store will be more than a place to get supplies; it will be a hub of positive reinforcement, where good deeds and hard work are acknowledged.”

Funded Aug 13, 2020When I saw that the community fully supported "Making Math Matter" during the COVID-19, I became overjoyed. As a teacher, it is essential to adapt to unusual circumstances inside the classroom. Still, the coronavirus pandemic has pushed all educators to innovate ways to reach and grow our students. There are no words to adequately express my thanks for positively impacting my students' learning experiences. Honestly, I was overly concerned about my students not being fully engaged due to the virtual teaching transition. However, the CZUR document camera and the Wacom Intuos Graphic Drawing Tablet allowed me to bring my students' learning arena.
When I notified students that we received support from the community through Donors Choose, they were excited. My student population was heavily affected by the corona pandemic, and by funding this project, you all confirmed that the community wants to see them succeed. The additional Tech has allowed for a more familiar setting for the students. 98% of my students received a laptop from the district and were unfamiliar with properly use the tool. With these tools, I can make seamless transitions without frequent multiple sights, which reduces the opportunity for distractions. I can add a flair of creativity and consistency in the lass through note-taking, interventions, and tutoring. Students are ecstatic to use the graphic pen during tutorials.
Thank you so much for your generosity and for allowing me to provide my students with resources that will enable them to experience math during a pandemic.”

Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you so much for your donation. As an educator your hope is to equip your students with as much knowledge as possible. It become disheartening when the students are prepared to go to another level but the supplies is not available. I became over joyed when I found out each of your very generous donations because It felt like the community wanted to see these young leaders prosper. Your support means so much, not only to the school, but to the scholars that you are helping.
With the calculators our students are able to advance in S.T.E.M. subjects as well as competitions.
Thank you! You truly have made a difference.”
