• PE Is Powerful Education!

  My scholars have been loving new resources. They are excited to have new balls. Now everyone has a chance to play with the balls. My scholars are loving the new basketballs and four-square ball. When my scholars got to see the new equipment they were so amazed by it because the old balls look liked an oval and torn. To see them play with the new equipment and really excited made me so happy.

  The next steps for my scholars next project is to implement soccer. My scholars love playing soccer during class and I am also coaching the school league. My project will be about soccer to provide the equipment that my scholars need to have a successful season this upcoming March.”

• In Pursuit of Physical Activity!

  I want to say thank you very much for your kind donations. My scholars and I have been loving the new resources. For a lot of my scholars they have never used a frisbee, and now that's all they want to do. It was amazing to see them so excited for a new activity.

  When I first got the new equipment I gathered my scholars around. I opened the boxes in front of them and they were going crazy and filled with excitement. They couldn't wait to used the new equipment.

  For my next project it will be about soccer. I am coaching my scholars in their afternoon sports league for the school. My scholars and I are excited to get that started.”

• Won't You Hula Hoop With Us?

  Your donations have impacted my class in a major way. My scholars love the new hula hoops. They have been excited using brand new ones. They have competitions everyday and it brings a smile to my face. Seeing them everyday so excited because of the new hula hoops feels amazing and its all because of your help.

  The moment I brought in the big boxes and opened up the box in front of them. They were going crazy and yelling. It was a priceless moment. That I wish you could have seen. Now we have enough hula hoops for everyone.

  The next step for my students on a current lesson is implement the hula hoops in various games.

• Fusing Technology Into Physical Education!

  Technology is helping my scholars learn in many ways. For instance they're thousands of apps that could be used to help my scholars. I currently used a lot of the apps to help teach my scholars and they love it. They are learning that you can be physically active while using technology and how technology can help you be physically active.

  The iPad offers different creative ways to teach my scholars, but one thing that they're most excited about is the yoga unit in my class. I use the iPad and the projector and the scholars look at the projector to do yoga. They love doing the poses and want to do it everyday.

  All my scholars have loved the iPad because they use it to play music, they love recording and posting it on class dojo for all their families to see. This technology has impacted our class in a positive way.”

• Music + Physical Education= Fun!

  Technology is something that is taking over in the classroom and out the classroom. This portable speaker is definitely helping my kids learn in my classroom in many ways. For example the music is motivating them and it gets them pumped up for the activity.

  The Bluetooth speaker made class so much fun. My scholars and I have a blast everyday since we received the speaker. The kids have been so motivated and excited to come to PE. I wish you can see all their dance moves. This has truly changed my class for the better.

  What I love about the speaker is that all the kids love it. Every day they're giving me new songs to play. Not only my scholars love it, but also the teachers. It has brought a different vibe to the school. Everyone loves it.

• Got Jump Ropes?

  I want to say thank you for your donations. This project has done a lot for my students. It has brought excitement to my student faces seeing they have new jump ropes, and knowing that they all have enough equipment for every one of them. My scholars and I are using the new equipment every day. Since the donations there's we don't have a single student left without a jump rope, and now they don't have tie three jump ropes together to do double dutch.

  When I first received the package I was so excited, so I gathered all my scholars and I opened the package right in front of them. As soon they saw the new jump ropes their faces were filled with joy. My next project is to incorporate technology into my physical education class and my team sports to show them how beneficial technology is for physical activity and how it can improve us. It has brought joy to my student faces seeing they have new equipment, and knowing that they all have enough equipment for every one of them. My scholars and I are using the new equipment every day in practice. Since the donations there's we don't have a single student left without a ball. Which is amazing because now we are using our time efficiently because of the resources.

As soon they saw the new equipment their faces lit up and were jumping up and down with excitement. It was a priceless moment that I'll always remember.
